Direct powered servos reduce voltage drop through the ESC's BEC, delivering stronger torque and faster response consistently, especially under load. They are ideal for demanding applications like crawlers, monster trucks, and heavier models.

Many internal BECs in ESCs max out at 3-5 amps. Direct-powered servos can pull 10A+ without issue, so they won't brown out under hard loads (e.g. wedging a crawler tire or landing off-camber at high speed).

The direct power lead features a common JST connector.
