The Cessna L-19/O-1 Bird Dog was a liaison and observation aircraft. It was the first all-metal fixed-wing aircraft ordered for and by the United States Army following the Army Air Forces' separation from it in 1947. The Bird Dog had a lengthy career in the U.S. military, as well as in other countries.

Our model captures the very essence of this early Cessna. This Micro Balsa plane is built from balsa and hardwoods with all the parts beautifully laser cut that are extremely accurate allowing you to build the perfect model. This PNP kit is easy to operate and suitable for beginners and comes with everything you need except your battery and RX/TX. BNF includes battery and charger plus DSMX Receiver!
