Scorpion A-3017 PNP Combo (4s / 30E-32E/ 962w) Electric Powerset Combo In combination with the new Scorpion A-Series motor line debut, we are also pleased to announce our new "PLUG-N-POWER" combo kits! This pairs our high power and high efficiency A-series motors with one of our suitably sized, pre-programmed, and pre soldered Tribunus ESCs! Providing you with a tested, proven, and convenient power system combo which is sure to provide you immense power, at the best efficiency! With 3D flight, low end torque and acceleration are crucial. Many companies opted to go with a “large diameter / thin height / high pole count motors" to try and get increased torque / acceleration. However doing this has the side effect of very large physical size and Lower Peak Efficiency. We at Scorpion have opted to stay with our proven 12N14P stator design. We have fine-tuned the magnets in the rotor to have amazing Peak Efficiency, and amazing Top End Power. Then, when used in combination with our Tribunus ESC, which has our proprietary drive algorithm which has unique switching pattern, along with features such as dynamic timing and dynamic frequency, we are still able to attain amazing low-end torque and acceleration. With the combination of the 2, we get “the best of both worlds” in the sense we have amazing peak Efficiency and Power with our stator design, and amazing low-end torque from the ESC side. Additionally, physically speaking our motors are similar length, with a much smaller outer diameter then other designs, which can be easier to fit inside cowls or fuselages of your airplane or UAV. This specific A-3017 PNP Combo (4s), is designed for 4s powered 48" Acrobatic Airplanes, and UAV's requiring up to 962w of power with 3.5kg+ of thrust. It comes with our A-3017-920kv motor, pre programmed and pre-soldered Tribunus 06-80A ESC and a custom Scorpion Gold Metallic painted 13x6 propeller. You are probably familiar with the old design- with the the line-in and the vent nozzle on the top of the tank and the line running to the engine on the cap. Because there are so many different fitting and sealants, there are alot of places where something can go wrong or start leaking. The V2 design eliminates ALL of these problems with ONE SIMPLE DESIGN..... ALL nozzles are in the removable cap which has TWO rubber gaskets and is ONE SOLID PIECE, which includes the vent tube and filling tube. Fewer parts = Fewer problems. Fortitude has hit the target with the V2 Tank and as always, is the best quality you can get! Fortitude (or 4titude) gas tanks are high quality, crystal clear plastic tanks, that take the guesswork and worry out of your tanks.
