The 40% Giant Scale 157.5" Piper J3 Cub is an amazing aircraft for smooth flights and a very scale appearance. The J3 Cub is a classic aircraft adored by both full-scale and model aviation pilots. Its flying characteristics and design versatility are so well known practically every new aircraft is compared to it. The 100-130cc Piper J3 Cub with its giant 4M wingspan is the largest aircraft offered from RedwingRC and has a beautiful color scheme that helps with orientation and leaves you plenty of room for custom graphics. The Piper J3 Cub is built with high quality balsawood and provides a lightweight airframe that is ridged and strong in all the right places.

The Piper J3 Cub was made to be an outstanding aircraft. The large rudder, large control surfaces, and aerodynamic nose makes this a very responsive plane in the air. It also includes a newly designed piston with re-engineered skirt for less piston weight - resulting in such advantages as awesome throttle response, more power and longer engine life.
