This 3-in-1 UBEC/CDI Kill Switch for Gas RC planes, allows you to safely and remotely kill your electronic ignition. It is Fiber Optically Coupled providing complete isolation between the ignition system and the radio system so there is NO interference. Simply plug this device into a spare receiver channel to give the pilot the ability to safely kill the engine anytime on the ground or in the air.  This is a must have safety device for any gas powered plane (most fields require a kill switch for gas planes). The 5 amp Universal Battery Elimination Circuit (UBEC) is a 'switch mode' DC regulator that takes the high voltage (6-13 volts) of the main battery pack and converts it to a consistent and safe 5.2 volts output to the CDI. This device also offers dual color LED alarm feature to signal when set voltage is detected. Voltage can be set to 4.8V or 6V and the LED will show Green or Red flashing or steady to signal the receiver voltage status.
