The Piper J-3 Cub is an American light aircraft that was built between 1938 and 1947 by Piper Aircraft. The aircraft has a simple, lightweight design, which gives it good low-speed handling properties and short-field performance. The Cub was designed as a trainer. It had great popularity in this role and as a general aviation aircraft. Due to its performance, it was well suited for a variety of military uses such as reconnaissance, liaison and ground control. It was produced in large numbers during World War II as the L-4 Grasshopper. Many Cubs are still flying today. Cubs are highly prized as bush aircraft.

Understanding the receiver

 

Setup Instruction

Binding

  1. Plug bind plug to the receiver.
  2. Provide power to the unit. LED flashes quickly.
  3. Enable bind mode in transmitter and ensure distance separation of 2 meters from receiver. Solid LED light means binding is completed.
  4. 4) Remove bind plug.

Failsafe Enable (Video showing 10-Channel receiver)

  1. Plug bind plug to the receiver.
  2. Provide power to the unit.
  3. Plug the side pushbutton for memorize current position in Failsafe mode.
  4. Green light will turn on at the bottom of the receiver to indicate Failsafe is successfully enabled.
  5. Remove bind plug

Failsafe Disable 

  1. Rebind the receiver without pressing the side pushbutton will disable the Failsafe mode.
  2. Green light off indicates Failsafe disabled.
