GT-Cygnus F3L & F5L RES 1970mm ARF (Pure Glider and Electric Motor Glider)

The Cygnus F3L (Pure Glider) and F5L (Electric Powered) RES (Rudder/Elevator/Spoiler) gliders comply with the international and US regulations for the F3L and F5L competition classes. F3L/F5L is a group scored thermal duration contest for low tech 2 meter span RES (Rudder/Elevator/Spoiler) gliders.

Cygnus F3L ARF is a fully built pure glider ARF model with multicolored coverings where you only have to install the 3 servos (e.g. BDualsky DS169), a 2S 600mAh lipo and the receiver. Everything else has already been taken care of by the manufacturer.

Cygnus F5L ARF is a fully built electric powered ARF model with multicolored coverings where you only have to install the 3 servos, Motor, ESC and a 2S or 3S 600mAh lipo and the receiver. Everything else has already been taken care of by the manufacturer.

The two colored ironed ribbed wings with a double V shape are in 3 parts, the outer ears are attached with GRP connectors and secured with tape, the anti-twist protection is pins. There is a large brake flap (spoiler) with magnet in the middle section for precise landings and safe exit from thermals.

The front fuselage is made of balsa wood and the tailplane is made of CFRP. The large side cabin lid with magnetic closure provides generous access and installation space for servos, receivers and batteries. The built-in high start hook is adjustable. The wing is screwed on from above with 2 screws. The elevator and rudder are weight-optimized, built in a conventional ribbed design and finished with ironing. The elevator is removable and is screwed on, the rudder is firmly glued. The rudder and elevator linkage is done with cables and spring return.

If you want a switch that offers complete dual battery balancing and redundancy with an ultra-small footprint for your scale model then look no further. The new Booma RC intelligent redundant battery balancing switch is the answer.

This switch works with any single or dual battery system. Works with battery chemistry and voltage range from 2.5v to 28v. It comes with a Pin Flag and Ultra Bright Blue LED which can be mounted discretely on your scale model. The Pin Flag controls the internally mounted switch and battery redundancy circuit. The result - beautiful scale appearance with dual battery redundancy peace of mind.

This new balancing technology offers zero voltage drop battery balancing and redundancy which means it can handle huge loads without generating heat. This also means your receiver and servos get all the power unlike conventional battery balancing which loses precious power as heat.

2 x 25 amp independent circuits. HS1 is 2 x 25amp circuits into a high power matching battery redundancy circuit. HS1 actually uses 4 x 50 amp rated FET circuits for battery power matching. We passively rate HS1 at 25amps per circuit.
