Spirit of St Louis 4-Ch Micro RTF Airplane

The Spirit of St. Louis, flown by Charles Lindbergh, made the first solo non-stop transatlantic flight from Long Island, New York, to Paris, France departing on May 20th and arriving on May 21st, 1927. Officially known as the "Ryan NYP" (for New York to Paris), the Spirit of St. Louis was a custom-built, single engine, single-seat monoplane designed by Donald A. Hall of Ryan Airlines. It was named Spirit of St. Louis in honor of Lindbergh's supporters from his hometown of St. Louis, Missouri. To save design time, the NYP was loosely based on the company's 1926 Ryan M-2 mail plane with the main difference being the 4,000-mile range of the NYP. As a non-standard design, the government assigned it the registration number N-X-211 (X for "experimental").

More than any other airplane, the Spirit of St. Louis captured the imagination of the country and led to the Golden Age of flight in the US. Due to extremely light wing-loading, the RageTM Spirit of St. Louis provides smooth, yet capable flight performance (either indoors or outdoors in light winds) that's ideal for sport or expert pilots. Experience the nostalgia of the original with scale features that include a highly-detailed scale 9-cylinder Wright Whirlwind dummy engine, a full-airfoil wing design with rib details and fuel tank vents, detailed scale landing gear and struts, and even the official name - "Ryan NYP", and registration number N-X-211 in realistic scale water slide graphics on the tail.

The Spirit of St. Louis 4-channel comes fully assembled as an RTF (Ready-To-Fly), so everything needed to fly is included in the box. In addition to the scale airframe with the installed 3-in-1 control board and separate 2.5g aileron servo, you get a 2.4GHz transmitter that includes the Rage RC PASS (Pilot Assist Stability Software) system so that the capabilities of the airplane grow as your flying skills increase. Even a USB charger that conveniently charges the included 1S 400mAh LiPo battery, and AA batteries for the transmitter are included in the package. All you need to do is charge the on-board battery and install the transmitter batteries and you'll be making your maiden flight on this amazingly detailed, historic airplane within minutes of opening the box!

The Spirit of St. Louis 4-channel RTF (Ready-to-Fly) provides smooth, yet capable flight performance (either indoors or outdoors in light winds) with added capability and control that's ideal for experienced pilots, especially now that aileron control has been added. You'll enjoy the nostalgia of this historical airplane with scale features such as a highly detailed, scale 9-cylinder Wright Whirlwind dummy engine, a full-airfoil wing design with rib details and fuel tank vents, and detailed scale landing gear and struts. Even the official name - "Ryan NYP", and registration number N-X-211 are shown in realistic graphics on the tail.

High Quality 1" Aluminum servo arm from Spot-On RC

Spot On Servo Arms are made of high quality 7075-T6 aluminum, one of the highest strength alloys available for this purpose.  They feature an ultra secure double lock design, keeping your servo arm secure and eliminating any slop between the main servo gear and the arm.  Spot On Servo Arms are also sand blasted and anodized for a beautiful appearance.

Spot on offers their servo arms in many sizes, threads and gear output compatibility.  Spot On arms are offered in:
M3, or #4-40 holes, so you can use ball links that are metric or standard Futaba, Hitec or JR compatible gear mesh. Sizes ranging from 1” to 2” for single arms and 2.5” to 4.5” for rudder arms.

Available colors are Black or Silver

Spot On RC Servo Arms are measured from the center hole of the servo to the outermost hole (for example, a 1” arm is exactly 1” from hole center to hole center).  However the larger sizes offer the option of one or two more additional inner holes so you can use them for future projects or fine tune your ratios.

Redwing RC only offers the V2, upgraded version, with stronger aluminum and finer design.  No matter which Spot On RC Servo Arms you choose you will be sure to experience problem free set up and operation with these high quality servo arms.
