GliderCG Scale Standard- Center of Gravity (CG) digital balance device, Designed for Large Models up to 88 lbs (40 kg) GliderCG Scale is our largest CoG balancer for models ranging from 7oz to 88lbs with wingspans up to 26'. The GliderCG Scale is suited for much larger planes that the smaller GliderCG products are unable to measure - models weighing up to 88lbs with giant wingspans. Designed for stability the scale uses larger and stronger supports with a robust base and frame to accomadate the Giant Scale Models. Additionally, the scale is versatile and is able to measure much smaller models at 17oz or less. GliderCG Scale features a sensor in each of the four legs, thus providing very accurate results for CG and lateral measurements. By using four sensors, we eliminate the torsional stress of the planes to obtain stable values while the plane is placed on the GliderCG Scale. Additionally, the GliderCG Scale can calculate the CG of the model in the lateral axis, providing additional information for balancing purposes.
With a solid and sturdy, yet lightweight aluminum structure, the GliderCG Scale is built to fit almost any model.
