The next step in battery sharing technology with Dual Battery backer redundancy, Fail-safe technology, downlink telemetry and color touch screen display that can be armed with a Pin-Flag, Magnetic or Remote switch actuatotor.

Utilizing the field proven power switching system from our pinnacle product the AR Smooth Flite and ARXL systems combined with the auto protocol sensing technology and encased it in a small stylish light-weight aluminium case (T-Switch). A completely modular design featuring multiple switching and input/output options. The new Smart Switch comes standard with dual 30amp rated original AMASS miniature XT30 connectors and can be optioned to any input and output combination without the need to solder.

Simple one time setup

The Smart Switch incorporates the latest plug and play feature,  Auto protocol sensing technology. No bind plugs, no programming. Simply power the unit on, plug your receiver into the Telemetry port and the Switch will auto sense the correct protocol giving you seamless battery down link telemetry to your radio. Battery telemetry includes Voltage, Current and Capacity used. Replace the clunky Telemetry devices and replace them with a streamlined light weight T-switch!

Need that extra scale look for your model. The Smart Switch comes with preinstalled splash screens including instrumentation panels, an artificial horizon and even a copy of the IMAC patter for scale aerobatic aircraft. Give your model that extra flair. The Smart Switch has you covered.

Simulated Cockpit Instrumentation

Smart Switch works with any single or dual battery system. Works with battery chemistry and voltage range from 2.5v to 8.4v.

Built with proven dual battery redundancy technology the AR Smart-Switch can be used with either a single or dual battery setup and is designed to power any receiver or power distribution system on the market.

  • Works with all major Radio brands including Futaba, JR, Jeti, Graupner Fr-Sky and Spektrum
  • Works with all battery chemistries, NiCD, Nimh, Lion, LiFe, LiPo or PB.
  • 2S, 3S and even 4S capable.

Description:

We are growing again with the addition of the 30cc "Strong Design" Edge 540 V3. This 30cc SD EDGE was designed from the ground up by aeronautical engineer Adam Strong. Tested, perfected and approved, to make sure this is going to be the best 30cc Edge out there, in flight and quality/features. It is carbon fiber rich, in the wings fuselage and the accessories.

The Edge 540 is known for its unsurpassed harrier and slow alpha flight capability and this 30cc version is no different, and specially designed by Adam Strong to take advantage of the scale planes tendencies, but added thought into what you want out of a modern day RC plane. Prepare to be amazed!

Enjoy smooth clean knife edge and similar maneuvers as well as very predictable smooth 3D. Very even rolling harriers, easy hover and torque rolls - this plane is a GREAT learning tool with the wonderful advantages of gasoline. 

This new 30cc Edge 540 comes with the same great features that Redwing provides with all of our planes. It is set up and ready for a DLE 30 or 35RA to be mounted right in - or try going electric with our new Tomcat Electric Motors with a little adaptation. A neat feature of the 30cc Edge is that is has a carbon fiber reinforcements in the fuselage and wings for added strength.
