Based on the original development of Olav Kalhovd, GliderCG is a center of gravity (CG) digital balance device for RC planes able to provide the exact information of where the CG is located on the aircraft via a display which also provides information of the aircrafts's total weight.

Simply place the aircraft/sailplane on the scale and obtain it's CG without trying to balance it on your fingers or mark the wings to supporting them on precarious structures.

Once the aircraft/sailplane is placed on the scale, you can vary the CG by moving e.g. the battery and GliderCG will automatically inform you of the new CG in real-time.  Easy and simple!

The GliderCG family was born with the aim of being able to transfer the concept of digital measurement of the CG to the different types of aircraft and radio control gliders. For this reason there is a specific device for each of the different popular disciplines: GliderCG F3K/DLG, GliderCG Standard, GliderCG Plus and GliderCG Scale. There is a device that will work on all RC aircraft.

GliderCG is constantly being improved and has evolved over time to provide more features and enhancements. Today's GliderCG devices are much more modern and advanced than the initial ones produced in 2018.

Based in the GliderCG v2 platform and with the constant desire for improvement, development on all aspects of the device, both hardware and software, to offer an improved device in a compact form factor for easy transport and storage when not in use.

This model is designed for F5G and big gliders up to 33lbs, however will work on all RC model airplanes meeting the weight and dimension limits below listed in specifications.

Additionally, this unit provides the ability to view data through the WiFi connection. The WiFi connection also provides the option to save the CG configuration of different models to review historical readings and the ability to compare readings after e.g. repairs, etc.

GliderCG Plus includes a set of smaller wing adapters to allow the measurement of planes with a narrow wing chord (i.e. DLG/F3K models).

The GT2000v2 Powered Glider is a high-performance competition grade glider with light weight carbon fiber and wood construction ideal for precision competition or a gentle relaxing flight. With its elegant wings and carbon fiber fuselage it responds superbly to thermals.

The GT2000v2 version has integrated carbon fiber throughout the model to maximize strength and performance while improving the quality, reducing weight and increasing the performance of glider. Below is a list of improvements from version 1:

The model comes as a kit version only due to multiple different power system and competition requirements for pilots. Below are some suggestions:

  •  Recommend a motor with reverse shaft and outer diameter of 28mm, such as XM2838 P5B special motor, or higher performance motor
  • ·May use standard size 9g servos for the tail and wing; however due to the thin wing must use smaller wing servos such as KST08, GDW1906, or Blue Arrow D0474HT MG for the aileron and flap. The thickness of the servo should be less than 9mm and the torque greater than 2kg.
