AeroSRS - Short for “Aero Starting Restraint System“, the AeroSRS is a simple and elegant solution to every pilot’s starting problem.  

The AeroSRS (Aero Starting Restraint System) is a high-quality, folding tail restraint for RC model airplanes . Handcrafted and made in the USA from CNC-machined 6061 aircraft aluminum and stainless steel, it holds the aircraft securely in place while starting the engine, eliminating the need for makeshift ropes or heavy bent pipes.

Key Features and Specifications

• Folding Design: Unlike conventional restraints, the AeroSRS uprights fold flat when pulled forward. This means you only need to lift the tail about 2 inches to clear the device, drastically reducing the chance of a prop ground strike.

• Durable Construction: Built with all-stainless steel hardware and billet aluminum, it is designed to resist rust and last a lifetime.

• Portability & Storage: When not in use, the entire unit folds completely flat for easy hanging on a garage wall or storage in a drawer.

How to Use It

• Place the AeroSRS directly behind your airplane's tail.

• Secure the base to the ground using the four provided spikes.

• Fold the uprights to the vertical position and push your plane backward against the restraints.

• Start your plane's engine.

• Pull the plane backward by the rudder (roughly 12 inches), which allows the uprights to pivot safely downward to the ground so you can taxi away.

CONSTRUCTION

Precision CNC machined from billet aircraft aluminum.  Utilizing all stainless hardware.  The Foam padding is custom made to be soft yet very durable and won't harm your aircraft.

UNIVERSAL

The AeroSRS was designed to accommodate a wide variety of models from smaller 20 size nitro class to 40% Giant Scale Aircraft. The height of the uprights is 12.75″ from the ground, while the clear spacing between the uprights is 8.5″. This is purposely kept to the smaller side to keep as much hold back force towards the center of the tail, reducing the amount of flex the stabs will experience. Utilizing a digital tension scale, the product has been tested to hold over 75lbs of force when staked in grass.

COMPACT

A complete self contained system. The AeroSRS folds flat where it can be hung on a wall, placed in a drawer taking up as little space as possible. The restraint stakes conveniently store within the product on snap clips ensuring they won’t be lost.
