Scorpion A-5524-205kv features

The Scorpion A - Series line of motors was designed to be the most optimal and premier choice of motor for your freestyle or UAV airplane. We have achieved incredible performance through incredible efficiency. By optimizing the magnets in the rotor, and using the best quality 0.2mm thickness silicon steel stator sheets, and 2 x single strand 1.2mm enamel coated copper wire windings rated above 200C+, the performance and efficiency results are unlike anything we have seen before! Combined with a robust design which has been tested extensively by our world class team pilots for longevity and reliability, we feel this motor checks and exceeds all measurable categories!

The A-5524-205kv was designed specifically for 73-79" Acrobatic Airplanes, or other Sport / UAV airplanes requiring up to 4600w of power. This motor is equivalent to a 35-40cc gas engine. We call it 35-40cc because with a 20" prop it is very equivalent to a 35cc gas engine and pulls less amps and therefore could run smaller batteries for lighter overall model weight. Or with a 23" prop it pulls as hard as a 40cc gas engine, with more amps thus requiring a larger battery.

Understanding the receiver

 

Setup Instruction

Binding

  1. Plug bind plug to the receiver.
  2. Provide power to the unit. LED flashes quickly.
  3. Enable bind mode in transmitter and ensure distance separation of 2 meters from receiver. Solid LED light means binding is completed.
  4. 4) Remove bind plug.

Failsafe Enable (Video showing 10-Channel receiver)

  1. Plug bind plug to the receiver.
  2. Provide power to the unit.
  3. Plug the side pushbutton for memorize current position in Failsafe mode.
  4. Green light will turn on at the bottom of the receiver to indicate Failsafe is successfully enabled.
  5. Remove bind plug

Failsafe Disable 

  1. Rebind the receiver without pressing the side pushbutton will disable the Failsafe mode.
  2. Green light off indicates Failsafe disabled.
