GliderThrow is a digital Angle/Throw meter that provides differentials, too! This small device can measure the deflections in degrees / millimeters with a resolution of 0.1 degrees and can measure the differential when working together with a second unit (since GliderThrow is a system that utilizes two sensors, one for each wing or surface of your airplane).

Using a dual system simplifies the throw setting of your model by having a direct view of both control surfaces at the same time.GliderThrow was initially conceived for setting the aileron and flap throws of a model glider. However, you will find that it can be used on most every airplane and for a variety of applications, such as measuring the dihedral angle of a wing, measuring incidence angles, etc.

The data can be viewed through any web browser on a smartphone, Android or iOS, PC or MAC. GliderThrow does not need any app to work. When turning on both units, search with your smartphone or PC for WiFi AP (access point) called "GliderThrow" and connect to it. Once connected, you will access the GliderThrow device through your web browser.

A powerful Neodymium magnet along with a non-slip surface ensures that GliderThrow stays in place.

The latest version incorporates rechargeable and replaceable Li-Ion coin batteries as well as the ability to charge through the USB-C port. This allows the removal of the battery if it is not being used for an extended period of time.

Measuring the incidence (angle between the wing and horizontal stabilizer centerlines) is easy with our Wing Incidence Tool.

Merely use the GliderThrow units with the Wing Incidence Tool!

Five easy steps:

  • Setup your plane on the bench in a horizontal position.
  • Install the Wing Incidence Tool on the wing and stab and lock them in place by tightening the screws on each part.
  • Place both GliderThrow units on a level surface and reset them.
  • Place each unit on the magnetic support of each beam (place GliderThrow units with hinge marking towards the leading edge).
  • View the incidence angle on GliderThrow's "Differential" screen.

Superb maneuverability at slow speeds even at low speeds and designed for large loops, knife edges, and inverted flights! Just like all the planes from Dynam RC, the Dynam F4F Hellcat comes with a pre-painted finish and is an excellent representation of the real thing. The pre-installed retracts are a super great feature that really add to the scale appearance of the plane. With the PNP Hellcat you can experience the NEW retract system- now the landing gears rotate and tuck into the wings.

Bonus Feature: The Dynam Hellcat F4F is flap ready. The wings have the cutouts for the servos and hinges. You will need to supply the servos and servo reverser (if your radio does not have this feature)

All servos, ESCs and motors are factory installed from the Factory. The Detrum brushless motor provides plenty of power for sporty scale flying.

Build time is around 45- 60 min from box to air. Expect flight time to be from 8-12 minutes, but all depends how fast you fly.

The model comes as a kit version only due to multiple different power system and competition requirements for pilots. Below are some suggestions:

  •  Recommend a motor with reverse shaft and outer diameter of 28mm, such as XM2838 P5B special motor, or higher performance motor
  • ·May use standard size 9g servos for the tail and wing; however due to the thin wing must use smaller wing servos such as KST08, GDW1906, or Blue Arrow D0474HT MG for the aileron and flap. The thickness of the servo should be less than 9mm and the torque greater than 2kg.
