Bob Smith Industries Mid-Cure Epoxy (15 min)
Bob Smith Industries EpoxyMid-Cure™ EpoxyMID-CURE™ 15 min. epoxy is used in larger areas where more working time is needed. It is more water resistant and can be used as a substitute for QUIK-CURE™ in most applications. MID-CURE™ is our most flexible epoxy and is ideal for gluing to fiberglass surfaces. Avaliable in 4.5oz Size. MID-CURE™ 15 min. Epoxy is an equal two-part hobby adhesive that forms high strength bonds through a chemical reaction between the resin and hardener. The cured epoxy is resistant to most chemicals. MID-CURE™ should be applied in temperatures above 65˚F. It can be used in most applications when you need more working time than QUIK-CURE™ provides. MID-CURE™ can be worked for about 10 minutes, with adhesion beginning after about 15 minutes. MID-CURE™ bonds best to clean, textured surfaces. Smooth, non-porous surfaces should be roughened with coarse sandpaper to improve adhesion. Acetone and Isopropyl rubbing alcohol work as the best solvents for cleaning uncured epoxy from surfaces. MID-CURE™ is our most flexible epoxy. This gives it superior bonding qualities in applications such as hardwood to fiberglass. MID-CURE’S™ lack of brittleness allows it to form lasting bonds in areas subject to high vibration or stress. MID-CURE™ is a water-resistant substitute for QUIK-CURE™. Full cure in 2-3 hours. |

Bob Smith Industries Insta-Cure Super Thin CA
Untitled Document Description:Bob Smith Industries CA Glue Insta-Cure™Insta-Cure™ has a water-thin viscosity that wicks deep into joints by capillary action and cures in a matter of a few seconds. Surfaces to be bonded must be tight fitting and should be held together while you apply the CA around the edges of the seam. At the moment CAs cure, they give off a vapor that can irritate the nose and eyes, so be prepared. Thin CAs work very well on balsa since they penetrate into the wood and form more than just a surface bond. Works Best On:

Avaliable in 2oz and 3/4 Pocket Size. Pocket CAs feature a new top that has a pin built into the cap that covers the nozzle. This pin seals the bottle so that if it is tipped over, the bottle will not leak. This makes the Pocket CAs ideal for keeping in your tool or field box, just like our IC-Gel. One disadvantage that the new Pocket CA top has is the bluntness of the nozzle. This makes it more difficult to apply small amounts of the CA, especially in tight places. From the feedback we have received, it appears about 25-30% of users prefer the new Pocket CA top, which means that over 70% prefer our standard top for general bonding purposes. Most users are buying both types. Our original top for the workshop, and the Pocket CA for use out in the field. The 3/4 oz. Pocket CAs are available in BSI's Insta-Cure, Insta-Cure+, Maxi-Cure and Super-Gold+. BSI's new extender tip #304 works on the Pocket CA.

Bob Smith Industries 301 Extender Tips for CA Glue Bottles (6 Pack)
Bob Smith Industries 301 Extender Tips for CA Glue Bottles (6 Pack) UN-CURE™ debonder will soften cured CA. If parts are bonded incorrectly or your fingers are stuck together, a few drops of UN-CURE™ will dissolve the CA in about a minute. Apply on bonded skin and roll apart fingers. Once stuck, use acetone to clean off softened CA, then wash off with soap and water. Since cured CA is essentially acrylic plastic, anything that will dissolve CA will also soften most plastics. Care must be used, therefore, when using Un-Cure on plastics. Separating plastics parts with a razor saw is usually the best option. Un-Cure™ will soften cured super glue (aka cyanoacrylate, CA). To release bonded skin (not near the eyes) apply Un-Cure™, then use a small, rounded object like a paperclip to separate the skin with a peeling action, applying more Un-Cure™ as needed until the skin areas are debonded. Wash the area with soap and water. The natural shedding of the skin’s outer layer will remove any residual CA within 12 hr. For removing CA from hard surfaces, soak a cloth or paper towel in Un-Cure™ and rub areas vigorously. Un-Cure™, however, will mar most plastics.
